Eva | Capitol Hill | Before Times

I came across this photo today while looking for another image for someone. I posted this back in 2017. I love everything about this outfit and Eva's haircut is fantastic. Looking back on images from Seattle is an emotional rollercoaster between missing my old home and knowing how much the city has changed in the the last two months as a result of the pandemic. I can't imagine what the Pike Pine corridor looks like now. Thinking of my friends up there in Seattle and heartbroken thinking about the loss being felt as a result of art spaces, local shops, venues, and restaurants being closed.

Sofie | Mast | Tucson

In pre-COVID times, Don and I finally made it to Tucson and we loved it! I could go on forever about all the great shops, eats, and architecture but I'll leave that for another time. We stopped by Mercado San Augustin Public Market where I found Mast. Sofie and two of her girlfriends Mellow, and Tasha co run the shop together and create some of the products carried in the store. It's a shop full of hand crafted jewelry, accessories, art, and homegoods in a bright airy space that feels so at home in Tucson. Check them out on IG under the handle @ilovemast or on their website here
