Selena Adamick | Red Light Vintage
Selena knows how to pick good vintage pieces. She has been working at Red Light Vintage for several years and every time I see her she is wearing these perfectly styled outfits put together with her finds. This skirt is totally gorgeous.

Kathy Wang | Summertime
I've said it many times already but I just love when I get to catch you guys in opposite seasons. It is so fun to see a persons style evolve with the weather. I photographed Kathy last winter all bundled up in Ballard at the farmers market. This girl has so much fun with her clothes. And this backless dress with the ribbon belt wrapped on top... so pretty.

Back in Idaho
I'm in Southeast Idaho right now to shoot a wedding so I thought I would post a little Idaho Street Style. Well, okay... farm style. It is just about as different as you can get from my home on Capitol Hill but is it ever gorgeous here...
I even get to pull out the ol' jean shorts when I'm here! More Idaho photos and pictures from the wedding to come soon.

Nancy Abramson | West Seattle
Oh Nancy, such style! While I was at Clementine Shoes' big annual sale in West Seattle a few weeks ago Nancy was there stocking up just like me.
Her shoes are from Clementine, since she had just bought them we figured why not throw them on for the picture. This dress is designed by Banana Blue and her shirt is from Sandy Lew downtown.

Mary Anne Carter | Outside Bauhaus
I was so excited to pass Mary Anne outside Bauhaus. I took her photo a couple years ago in the chillier months and so enjoyed her beautiful quirky style.

Paloni | Helsinki
Paloni was another really special spot that I stopped into while visiting Helsinki. In Finnish Paloni means "my fire" or "my passion". This shop was filled to the brim with clothing, accessories and decor handmade by over 80 independent designers. It was a gallery of creativity that ended up being the perfect place for me to find gifts to bring home for friends and family. You can shop a lot of the items from their online store and Paloni can also be found on facebook.

Shoemaker Mäensivu Bottier | Shoebakery, Helsinki
One of the neatest places that I happened upon in Helsinki was Shoebakery on Eerikinkatu. This small space is a workshop and showroom for five shoemakers including Mäensivu Bottier. Mäensivu and the other designers make shoes by hand in the shop and you can watch them do it, which is exactly what I got to do while I looked through all the beautiful shoes for sale and on display. What a unique experience! The shop is currently by appointment only but Mäensivu had the door open when I was passing by. The front wall is a large window so you can watch the shoemakers at work from the street.
I wanted so many of the shoes but I ended up bringing home a beautiful leather bracelet made by Anna Artemova.
You can find out more about Shoebakery on their facebook page and Mäensivu Bottier's work can be seen at his blog and on his facebook page.
