Jesse owns Street Bean Espresso, a cafe and non-profit in Belltown that hires homeless youth to help them get away from a life on the street. I was so blown away by this when I checked out the website. Pretty amazing idea for change.

I talked with Rachelle for a really long time because there were so many fun stories behind everything she was wearing. I love when that happens. The shoes are old Doc Martens that she has had forever and have held up extremely well. The jacket is an army surplus find. The ring was purchased from Semilla Designs' booth at the Ballard Sunday farmers market. And the pants, well, those are just plain amazing.

Kim designs a line of knitwear here in Seattle under the name Imstrang. You can find her work at Pike Place Market, on her website and on Etsy. You'll see a familiar face on her site, Amanda Ochoa did some modeling for Kim's Winter 2013 line and she has some images of the photoshoot up.

Janae was heading out from the Ballard Farmers Market as I was headed into it for some grocery shopping. What I find so unique about the Ballard Market is that most of the people I stop for photos there are from other parts of the city like me.  Janae is from Phinney Ridge. She works at The Ballroom in Fremont.  You can find her there on Wednesdays running the trivia night.

You won't be surprised to hear that Justin works in fashion.  He runs the Nordstrom blog Men's Shop Daily. Have you seen this blog yet? I'm a bit biased because I love me some men's fashion but definitely check it out. Justin does such a great job bringing readers something totally unique with every post. You can definitely see his sense of style in the content. This is a good thing being that this boy knows how to style a good outfit.

As you are all probably beginning to gather, I really like when people wear unique hats. It is something that everyone used to have in their wardrobe but hat wearing and hat making has changed. Now most hats are mass produced, cheaply made and one size fits all. The bright side of this is that it makes it extra special when you see a well made one. Lenna made her scarf out of a wool blanket from the army surplus store. Lenna is a lingerie designer here on Capitol Hill. Her line is called Oberg Innerwear.  She also works at Baby & Co. clothing boutique downtown.

Rowan was visiting from Vancouver when I found her wandering downtown. She found much of what she is wearing at thrift stores and likes to browse around on tumblr to get inspiration for putting outfits together.
