I think my favorite part of this year's Folklife Festival was discovering Laura Jorgenson. She was a breath of fresh air to come across amongst all the chaos of the festival. I stood and watched with amazement as she sang soulfully and gracefully alongside her accordian. If you love Beirut, Antony & the Johnsons, Regina Spector, Andrew Bird, or Coco Rosie you will fall head over heels for Laura. I can't wait for her album to come out on the 15th!
