Ben

I couldn't get over Ben's jeans when I saw him on 10th in front of Elliot Bay Book Co. . They are perfect! He has trouble finding jeans that fit him well due to his height so a friend custom made this pair for him... What a friend! The color and fade of the denim is just right. I have been wearing a lot of denim in the past few weeks and for the last year have been on the hunt for a pair of jeans in a wash that I have decided on and have pictured in my head but just can't seem to find at any stores. A couple weeks ago I was at a Jazz/Blues festival in Yakima and a middle aged man working as a vendor in the beer garden was wearing an old worn out pair of Levis that I loved. They were so perfectly worn and faded. I liked them so much that by part way through the day I was asking my husband, "How weird would it be if I offered him $100 to mail me his old beat up jeans?" Luckily he talked me out of it because that was a slightly irrational idea. I like to think that someday I'll be at a thrift store or flea market and come across the ultimate pair.

I think you should've asked to buy them off him.

It's quite common place in London. Had it happen to me on numerous occasions a few years back.

Really?? That's so great. Now I am wishing I would have! I guess the worst that could have happened was he would have said no...

People would stop to offer you money for your jeans or for other things. That is hilarious. I wish it were common place here, I think it would make for fun exchanges with strangers.
