Entering into a new decade prompted me to take a peek back at what the photos I was taking in 2010 looked like. I took a lot of photos that year so it was hard to narrow it down but I picked a handful to share that felt really 2010 to me. It was so fun to scroll back through and remember all these interactions as well as what caught my eye about the person.
remember how popular those black lace up boots were (upper right)?? And everyone was belting their outfit at the waist. Vintage was super popular.
The bottom middle photo is so Capitol Hill 2007-2010. And leave it to Laura Cassidy and Linda Derschang to be totally of the moment then yet both of their outfits in these photos also still somehow look totally current 10 years later.
I can't believe how long I've been taking these photos, the blog was already in full swing for a few years when these were taken.
Looking forward to seeing what I'm photographing 10 years from now.
