I never miss Hillside Quickie's Vegan 4th of July BBQ. For $10 they serve you a huge amount of their incredible home cooked vegan fare including tofu, tempe and seitan BBQ burgers, potato salad, southern style greens, Mac "n" Yease (which is so tasty!), and a bunch of different pasta and leafy green salads. Still hungry... you get seconds.
On top of all of this there are some different drinks to choose from like sweet tea and lemonade and then after your meal when you think you couldn't possibly eat any more it's time for their cupcakes and vegan cake and ice cream. It's always a great experience and it reminds me that I really need to get up to Hillside more often for their regular menu which is also fantastic.
